The FactionOS public website now has a more complete static publishing surface for blog and news content.

This update adds featured entries, latest-update treatment, category groups, related entries, previous and next article navigation, RSS affordances, and stronger seed content for validating the templates.

What changed

  • Blog and news index pages now highlight a featured or latest entry.
  • Category groups expose product, architecture, field-notes, release, changelog, demo, and company update types as text.
  • Detail pages can show attribution, related entries, cross-links, and newer or older article navigation.
  • RSS categories now include collection, category, and tag labels for non-draft entries.

What did not change

The website remains static Astro output. This update does not add analytics, trackers, hosted forms, auth, CMS behavior, runtime personalization, server rendering, production-hosted validation, or hidden event collection.

The release value is editorial readiness: the publishing routes can now carry bounded product, architecture, field-note, changelog, and company updates while keeping draft filtering and no-claim copy visible.
